Services We Provide

We accommodate each resident by providing all services that are required to live successfully in the community as independently as possible. Our role as home operator and staff is to work with you to help meet your needs.

  • MEALS: We serve three proportioned nutritious meals a day with snacks and refreshments available between meals that fulfill Canada’s Food Guide requirements, as well as special diet needs accommodated for.
  • RECREATION: Our home offers a wide variety of both individual and group recreation programs in and out of the home. These programs foster independence and enhance personal growth and contribute to general well being. Residents will be encouraged to join activities and contribute to odd jobs around the home, depending upon their level of physical and mental abilities. Participation in activities stimulates friendships and builds confidence. Activities may include movie night out, pizza night in, birthday and holiday celebrations, and community activities such as local fairs and sports games.
  • LAUNDRY: Laundry service is available and linens are washed once a week. All linens are provided for by the home. Residents may choose to do their own laundry at the connivence of staff.
  • PERSONAL NEEDS: The home staff and operators will assist all residents with appointments and transportation. The home operator will assist residents in making and keeping all medical and legal appointments. As well home operator offers support to effectively manage personal needs allowance and banking needs a daily basis. All personal need supplies are included, such as soap, toothpaste, shampoo etc.
  • MEDICAL: A house family doctor, dentist, optometrist and psychiatrist are provided and arranged as required.
  • EXTRAS: Additional in-home services available include a house barber and foot nurse who come on a 6 week rotation to the home. These services are available to every resident at an extra cost.
